Jutsu Guide
Especially if you are creating a newly started out Genin, you need to have a list of all of the jutsus you have. How many, precisely, depends on your character. All Genin know the three basic jutsus they're taught in the Academy - exceptions would only be characters like Naruto - period, end of story. All Genin whose parents are shinobi can have one D-rank jutsu, too. If they're a Clan Shinobi, in addition to the D-rank jutsu, they may have one lower-level jutsu related to their clan techniques. This can vary - one example would be Sasuke's Great Fireball Technique.
If your Genin is not a new Genin, they will be able to have more techniques. Two additional techniques can be added for every year they are a Genin - Clan Shinobi may add a clan technique to that pile. This caps off at ten jutsu upon creation - you can gain more as you play your Genin, but that is the most you will be able to start with. (After all, if they know that much, why are they a Genin?)
Chunin may have 25 jutsu at the most (and only very advanced Chunin should have that much). Jounin-level and above? Go nuts. The sky's the limit, though we'll ask you to tone it down if you're being unreasonable.
This is mainly for people to be able to assess where your character is at - especially for things like the Chunin Exams - and for you to know what your character is able to use. If you have a fighting thread, we ask that you use discretion and judgement, and bring any arguments about the contents to the Admin.
As you play, you may pick up more jutsu - either from another shinobi teaching your character one IC-ly within a thread, or via buying one from the shop with money you earn from posting. Have fun!
